Missoula's University of Montana was cited as "The most beautiful campus in America," by Rolling Stone Magazine.
This sentiment was also expressed in Kaplan's "Unofficial, Unbiased Guide to the 328 Most Interesting Colleges." where it states that UM is among the top "schools with the most beautiful campus in an urban setting."
And it's located in Missoula Montana that has been called the "Rocky Mountain Berkeley ... the kind of place many people hate to leave." -by Martin Nemko, "How to Get an Ivy League Education at a State University"
Kevin and I have both attended the University of Montana and loved our time there. We go back at every opportunity for the Arts, Grizzly Athletics, or just to check out what's going on at the University Center "the UC".
The campus is beautiful, the people are friendly, and the school boasts some of the best academic programs in the country. The University of Montana has become know for its Nobel Prize Winners and Rhoades Scholars.

Monica, How gorgeous. I think I need to make a goal to purchase some vacation property in Montana; Because of your blog I am falling in love with Montana. The pictures aer truly breathtaking.
OK, I will give you credit for a beautiful campus. And that stadium on gameday is ROCKIN!
But as your Big Sky rival and Eastern Eagle Alum, I am going to have to delete this post.........hahahaha!!
The pictures are so pretty. I love the steeple with the clocks. I have not mastered how to put a picture on a blog and place the typing beside it. I always have a break from the picture to the verbage. I am an AR newbie. I love to read your blogs.
Rebecca - We would love to have you in Montana and hope you do fall in love with our state :)
Bob - You are so right about the stadium rockin on game day, they keep adding on to the stadium and it still fills up. Grizzly football is big stuff in Western Montana. I'll keep my eye on this post, if it disappears, I'll know what happened.
Debbie - Thank you. When you upload a new picture - before you insert it - click on the Appearance tab that is right behind the upload tab. You can choose to Float the picture Right, Left, or Center. You can also resize your photo. Good luck and welcome to ActiveRain!
That is gorgeous. I love Missoula, it's such a nice little community.
Hi Marie - thank you! Missoula is a great community.
