Got Moose Drool? When You Visit Missoula, Take a Tour of Our Local Breweries

Missoula's BreweriesMissoula has some of the best micro-breweries in the West, so when you're in Missoula, take time to sample the local flavors.

Big Sky Brewery features some of our favorites with Moose Drool, Scape Goat, Powder Hound, and Trout Slayer and others. Big Sky Brewery also has great souvenirs and T-shirts.

Bayern Brewery features Dancing Trout, Bayern Amber & Bayern Pilsner among others. Bayern is a German Brewery.

Kettlehouse Brewery features Lake Missoula Amber and Montana Blonde among others. At the Kettlehouse, you can also brew your own ale.

Beer is serious business in Missoula, so much so that there is even a blog through the Missoulian about brews at http://grizzlygrowler.com/.

So next time you're in Missoula, contact Kevin & Monica Ray to check out the local real estate market, then take a tour of the local microbrews! You won't be disappointed.

A few years ago driving in the Berkshire mountains of western Massachusetts, I came across a huge moose.  They DO drool.

Brian - you're right, and it can be turned into a great beer! Moose Drool's the best.

I love Moose Drool.  Im also a huge Bayern fan!  Living in Missoula is great for beer drinkers.

A name like Moose Drool would definitely get me to try the beer, but only the taste would make me go back for more. It sounds like taste testing is in order.

Kevin & Monica, I've been to wineries but never a brewery and I know I would really enjoy it--I would love to see the process.  If I'm ever out that way, I'd be sure to take a tour.

I don't know if I'd want the customers to go before showing houses or after! If they go before, they might be easier to deal with. Of course, I'm only talking about the difficult ones. If I was a beer drinker, I'd be there.
