I would venture to say that the University District is the most popular Missoula neighborhood, as reflected by the price of homes in the area. It's beautiful historic homes, tree lined boulevards, and close proximity to Missoula's University of Montana and downtown make it a desirable place to live.

From July 1, 2008 to July 1, 2009, there were 33 homes sold in the University District ranging from $91,000 to $862,000. The median sales price was $315,000 - the highest in Missoula. Kevin and I have both attended the University of Montana and loved our time there. We go back at every opportunity for the Arts, Grizzly Athletics, or just to check out what's going on at the University Center "the UC".

The campus is beautiful, the people are friendly, and the school boasts some of the best academic programs in the country. The University of Montana has become know for its Nobel Prize Winners and Rhoades Scholars.
